The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 Omni is the most advanced window cleaning robot for the US market, combining smart navigation, secure suction, and a self-cleaning station.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 Omni is the strongest overall choice for users who want a premium, highly automated window cleaning robot. It improves on earlier WINBOT models with Win-SLAM 5.0 smart navigation, a triple spray system, strong safety protection, and a multi-functional station that can help reduce manual maintenance after cleaning. The dual power design is especially useful for US homes with large glass doors, exterior windows, and areas where an outlet is not always nearby. Its secure suction and responsive app controls make it well suited for high or hard-to-reach windows. However, the W3 Omni is expensive and makes the most sense for homes with large glass areas rather than small, easy-to-reach panes. It also will not fully replace a careful hand clean for every edge and corner. Even with those limits, its automation, safety system, and cleaning performance make it the best high-end window cleaning robot currently available.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO Omni delivers premium window cleaning performance with intelligent navigation, powerful suction, and a robust all-in-one safety system.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO Omni is a high-end window cleaning robot designed for users who want reliable and efficient results with minimal effort. It features advanced intelligent path planning that ensures thorough coverage while avoiding missed spots, making it suitable for large glass surfaces. The strong suction system keeps the robot securely attached during operation, while the Omni station adds an extra layer of safety with integrated power backup and control. Cleaning routes are calculated automatically, reducing the need for manual adjustments. On the downside, its premium pricing places it above entry-level models, and the unit is heavier, which may affect portability. Additionally, it is primarily focused on window cleaning rather than multi-surface use. Overall, the ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO Omni stands out as a dependable and sophisticated solution for users seeking top-tier window cleaning performance.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W2S Omni offers strong edge cleaning, wide spray coverage, and a safer all-in-one station for regular window maintenance.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W2S Omni is an excellent choice for homeowners who want better edge coverage without moving all the way up to the most expensive W3 Omni. It uses TruEdge edge-to-edge precision, triple wide-angle spray nozzles, Win-SLAM route planning, and a 12-level safety system to deliver reliable cleaning on large windows, glass doors, and balcony panels. User feedback from early US buyers has been positive, especially for tall windows and glass railings that are difficult to clean by hand. The Omni station also improves convenience by keeping power, safety, and storage more organized. Like most window cleaning robots, it still requires the user to move it from pane to pane, and very dirty windows may need multiple passes or a manual touch-up. It is also more expensive than basic suction-only models. Overall, the WINBOT W2S Omni is a strong modern upgrade and one of the best choices for regular maintenance cleaning.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W2 OMNI excels with its portable station, impressive coverage, and streak-free cleaning, making it the top choice for effortless window maintenance.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W2 OMNI stands out as a premium window-cleaning robot with a portable, battery-powered station that allows for both indoor and exterior window cleaning. Its lightweight design includes a station that stores all necessary components, such as microfiber mopping pads, a squeeze bottle, and a safety rope. The robot covers up to 592 square feet on a single 110-minute charge, sufficient for an average home's 22 windows. The WINBOT W2 OMNI uses a compound cable that functions as both a safety rope and power cord, automatically winding back into the station. The microfiber pads effectively trap dirt without smearing, leaving windows streak-free. However, the robot must be fully charged before use and does not completely clean window edges. The completion alert is also not loud enough to hear over its operating noise. Despite these minor drawbacks, the WINBOT W2 OMNI delivers exceptional performance, making it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a hands-free window-cleaning solution.

The Hobot S7 Pro Robot Window Cleaner features dual mops for wet and dry cleaning, delivering streak-free results with advanced safety features.
The Hobot S7 Pro Robot Window Cleaner is the first of its kind to feature dual mops—one for wet cleaning and another for drying—ensuring streak-free, static-free windows. Its advanced sensors detect window edges, preventing falls, and a safety rope is included for added security. The robot follows three automatic cleaning modes to ensure thorough coverage. However, the instructions regarding battery use are confusing, as the robot must be plugged in during operation but also requires charging between cleans. Each cleaning session lasts only 20 minutes before a three-hour recharge is needed. The app, while user-friendly, has a slight lag in responding to commands. Despite these drawbacks, the Hobot S7 Pro's dual-mop system and reliable edge detection make it a standout choice for those seeking a comprehensive window-cleaning solution.
Product-Review-Crew evaluated leading window cleaning robots available to US buyers, weighing hands-on editorial testing, user feedback, current availability, safety systems, navigation, edge performance, and overall value. Ranked first, the ECOVACS WINBOT W3 Omni is the best overall choice for 2026 because it combines Win-SLAM 5.0 smart navigation, strong suction, dual plug-in and battery-powered operation, and an auto-clean multi-functional station. It is best suited for homes with large windows, glass doors, and hard-to-reach exterior glass, though its high price and large-window focus may be unnecessary for smaller homes. Ranked second, the ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO Omni remains a proven premium performer, praised for its portable station, reliable cleaning path, cordless operation, and strong results on dirty glass. It lacks the newer W3 Omni station upgrades, but it is still one of the safest and most dependable options.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W2S Omni takes third place as the best edge-cleaning model, using TruEdge precision, triple wide-angle spray nozzles, and a 12-level safety system to improve regular maintenance cleaning. It still requires moving between panes and may need multiple passes on heavily soiled windows, but user feedback is strong for large windows and glass railings. Ranked fourth, the ECOVACS WINBOT W2 OMNI remains the best value pick, offering a portable station, strong suction, and dependable route planning at a lower price than the newer premium models. Finally, the Hobot S7 Pro earns fifth place for its dual-mop wet and dry cleaning approach and solid light-maintenance performance, although testing shows it can struggle with dirtier outdoor windows and lacks the app-based convenience of the ECOVACS models. Overall, the best choice for most premium buyers is the WINBOT W3 Omni, while the W2 PRO Omni remains a safer proven pick, the W2S Omni is ideal for edge-focused maintenance, the W2 OMNI offers the best value, and the Hobot S7 Pro is best for users who want a dual-mop alternative.

I invested in the WINBOT W2 PRO Omni to clean my windows and balcony windows in my apartment in the 7th floor. I have not been wanting to clean the windows before due to the height so I am really happy with this purchase. Quite a lot of money but worth it for me with clean windows now
I am also living quite high up in my apartment and been looking at a window cleaning robot. How does it work, do you drive it with your phone? Don't you need to wipe the window after? Thinking of getting a cheaper one but I haven't decided yet
Yes exactly, I use the app and drive it. I just place it on the window and the stand inside and drive. At least the Winbot that I have does not need anything from me after like wiping the window. And it does really get the edges of the window so it works very well for me.
